Travel & Weather
Travelling to France from the UK can be by road, rail or air and has been made easier over the last few years with low cost airlines opening up new routes and bases in France, coach companies offering exceptionally low fares to Paris and Eurostar now allowing us to travel direct to Avignon in the summer.
There are approximately 30 airports in France which have routes to all over the UK and the fares are now very competitive. Most of these airports offer excellent rates on car hire as do the airlines themselves.
If travelling by train you can take the Eurostar from London or Kent to Lille and Paris and now also to Avignon in the summer. You can also take the Eurostar to Paris and then connect onto the relevant train serving your destination. The Eurotunnel allows you to put your car on the train at Folkestone and to drive off at Calais, taking only 35 minutes.
The Ferry takes a little longer but allows you to get out of your car to stretch your legs, have a meal or a snack, do some shopping, etc.
At J'adore la France we will look into the most effective means of travel to meet your requirements and your budget. We will work with you in making sure travelling to your destination in France or Corsica is both suitable and cost-effective.
